Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define product features, write precise, detailed requirements, and unify them across projects and teams
  • Find solutions with engineering teams
  • Develop a deep understanding of new customers’ needs as well as wants, collect and analyse their requirements and product feedback, and make data-driven decisions about the direction to grow
  • Analyse product metrics to define a better approach to delivering products with superior quality and with a highly desired feature set
  • Profiling of competitors in an assessment analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, review of competitors’ products
  • Establish and implement practical requirements creation and management practices
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process inside the company, collaborate with designers, engineers, support, marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the best product on the market
  • Establish a pricing and licensing model for products

Key Requirements and Competencies

  • 3-6 years of experience in software development projects as a program or product manager
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Product/UX Design or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Understanding a software engineering concept
  • Communication with customers: the ability to conduct presale and customer development, collect feedback and define requirements.
  • Experience in working with project management and requirements preparation tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Redmine, Aha!, ProductBoard, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written & verbal communication skills in English
  • Will be a plus, but not necessarily: deep understanding and\or experience in SaaS and\or PaaS products
