THE POSITION

We have vacancy for a Product Manager within our Braking department to join our busy team based in either Rotherham, Birmingham, Bristol or Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the ongoing management of the Product Groups under your control including lifecycle management, providing analysis and insight into requirements in an ever changing and evolving automotive aftermarket.  Full management of the product groups allocated to the candidate from new to range introduction to end of life exit.

We are offering a competitive salary and ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complete product range lifecycle from New to Range through to end of life removal
  • Maintaining the live product file on ERP systems
  • Product cataloguing (Make model index) via aftermarket solutions and supporting the wider cataloguing business function
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate new product launches
  • Carry out Supplier benchmark analysis including pricing and cross referencing.
  • Working in conjunction with the supplier and internal Technical teams to produce and manage product factsheets, technical data and product notes
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to promote internal and external brand awareness
  • Handling basic technical queries

Essential requirements;

  • Strong level of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket (Preferably Braking sector)
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Team Player.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication.
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle components.
