Your RoleAs a Product Marketing Manager (IC4) at Gorilla, you’ll execute on market insight and go-to-market strategy.
You will drive research, positioning, messaging, and launch execution, working cross-functionally with Product, Sales and Marketing to help Gorilla win in complex enterprise energy markets.
This role is ideal for someone who is structured, and execution-oriented, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build scalable GTM systems, someone with agency able to execute in ambiguity.
You’ll work in close partnership with our current Product Marketing Manager to align strategy and execution. Together, you’ll be the bridge between market insight, product development, and commercial success, ensuring customer needs and market opportunities directly guide Gorilla’s growth.
The mission is to lead market research, validate product–market fit, and build positioning and messaging that scale across enterprise and international markets. With significant autonomy, you’ll design go-to-market approaches that reach new audiences and sharpen Gorilla’s competitive positioning, while working directly with senior leadership to influence roadmap priorities and strategic direction.
What You’ll DoYou’ll be executing in three core areas: market insight, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise customer influence.
Problem–solution fit and strategic validation
Lead market research projects to size opportunities, assess customer needs, and map the competitive landscape.
Translate insights into clear recommendations that shape product direction, roadmap priorities, and GTM focus.
Define and validate ICPs and buyer personas using structured interviews and data-driven analysis.
Test and validate value propositions through customer discovery, win/loss insights, and competitor analysis.
Ensure research is packaged into usable assets that drive cross-functional alignment.
Market activation and go-to-market strategy
Create product positioning and messaging for enterprise buyers and international markets.
Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing and RevOps to design repeatable GTM playbooks for launches and expansions.
Coordinate and drive launch execution across functions (content, enablement, product readiness, sales readiness).
Establish success metrics and dashboards to track GTM performance and drive iteration.
Customer and market influence
Build strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to gather market intelligence.
Synthesize insights into actionable guidance for product teams and commercial teams.
Shape narratives that resonate with C-level buyers and support Gorilla’s thought leadership—primarily through content, enablement, and customer proof points.
Represent the “voice of the market” internally by proactively surfacing patterns, risks, and opportunities.
3-5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing (or adjacent roles with strong positioning + GTM ownership).
Proven track record delivering messaging frameworks and GTM programs for complex products.
Experience supporting launches in new countries/regions.
Experience working with enterprise sales motions and multi-stakeholder buying groups.
Strong analytical skills, able to translate data and customer feedback into strategic decisions.
Hands-on experience with market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
