We are seeking a results-driven Product Owner to help drive the evolution and optimization of our internal Atlassian tool ecosystem (Jira, JSM, Assets, Confluence, Atlassian Analytics, etc.). As a member of the Product & Technology Operations organization, you will help manage the Atlassian platform roadmap, gathering and prioritizing requirements from cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our Atlassian tools align with business needs and drive operational excellence. This is a mid-level to senior role ideal for someone with hands-on experience owning enterprise-scale Atlassian implementations and collaborating with engineering, product management, and operational stakeholders. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Help manage the product roadmap for the Atlassian suite, ensuring it aligns with the broader internal tools strategy and business objectives. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for Jira, JSM, Confluence, and other Atlassian products. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Design, QA, Security, etc.) to gather requirements, understanding use cases, pain points and areas for improvement. 
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
  • Prioritize backlogs and manage the lifecycle of enhancements, customizations, and integrations across Atlassian tools. 
  • Help drive proofs of concept on new tools, plug-ins, and integrations. 
  • Communicate new features and enhancements to stakeholders. 
  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles to support and empower both internal teams and end-users in getting the most out of the Atlassian suite. 
  • Drive training, onboarding, and change management initiatives. 
  • Stay current with Atlassian’s roadmap, product updates, and best practices, and make proactive recommendations. 
  • Measure and communicate the impact of changes and enhancements via metrics and reporting dashboards

Requirements: 

  • 4+ years of experience in product ownership, business systems analysis, or internal tools management. 
  • Deep knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, JSM, Confluence, etc) along with experience configuring and administering such applications. 
  • Knowledge of data analytics. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and conflicting priorities. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Demonstrated success in owning tool roadmaps, gathering requirements, and delivering process and productivity improvements. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for translating technical concepts into non-technical language. 
  • Experience working in Agile oriented organizations. 
  • Strong English skills both written and verbal.
