JOB DESCRIPTION
Working with content providers to proactively manage the inclusion of ESG reporting frameworks, GHG emission factors and pre-configured customer content within UL 360, UL Solutions' flagship ESG reporting software, used by leading organisations around the world to measure, report and reduce their sustainability and ESG impacts.
Once content is updated, work with our client facing roles and technical authors to ensure that clients are aware in advance and updates can be planned and managed.
Support the advisory team to incorporate best practice client examples or potential product improvements into the Sustainability reporting platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively monitor updates on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission factor updates from the likes of International Energy Agency (IEA), Reliable Disclosure (RE-DISS), UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (Desnz), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Leaders and so on. Manage the inclusion of new emission factor types and sets into the product, including QA.
- Communicate updates internally and externally to deliver updates to individual customers.
- Assist in client meetings where non-standard frameworks or factor sets are requested as part of their deployment to advise on actions, timescales and commercial impact.
- Work with client-facing teams within the organisation to gather client feedback and Sustainability best practice examples to design new content products. Working with Product Managers and Product Owners to explore the cost and business value of these.
- Respond to administrative or content related inquiries or ad-hoc requests relating to any content products.
- Organise translation of the product into our supported languages that can be licensed by our customers. Oversee the upload and arrange QA of translated content. This does not require language skills.
- Work with 3 rd party content providers to arrange supplier onboarding, purchase order and invoice processing.
- Update and maintain pre-configured software solution.
- Develop and maintain ESG content information for internal use by Advisory, Professional Services, Marketing and Sales teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree level or equivalent expertise (ideally in the Sustainability field)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ESG or sustainability or environmental
- Very confident with Excel and data manipulation.
- Problem solving, enquiring mind. Attention to detail.
- Well organised, good communicator.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Working knowledge of ESG reporting for large corporate companies.
- Understanding of Emission factor scopes and their wide-ranging application to large organisations.
- Understanding of content provision.
