Role Summary:

Remote position (working from home contract).

Project Portfolio Manager with extensive experience overseeing and managing a portfolio of IT Infrastructure Projects and Initiatives.   The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management within an international environment, they will be adept at project prioritization, risk management, budget management and have exceptional communication and organizational skills.

This role reports to the IT Director, Global Infrastructure.

Your Role:

  • Responsible for the delivery of our portfolio of global IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with governance and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; establish contingency plans to minimize impacts on timelines and costs.

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into the portfolio's health and progress.

  • Manage the financial aspects of the portfolio, including budgeting and cost control.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.

  • Collaborate with governance, network, and security teams to ensure all projects meet compliance and framework requirements.

  • Responsible for the Management of 5 IT Project Managers located in US, EMEA and APAC

Your Profile:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • 5–7 years of related experience, including at least 5 years in project management within IT infrastructure environments.

  • Advanced project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk mitigation.

  • Proficiency in managing project budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in portfolio management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Skill in aligning project portfolios with the organisation's strategic objectives.

  • Knowledge of financial principles and budgeting to manage portfolio budgets effectively.

  • Ability to optimise resource allocation across projects to ensure efficient project delivery.

  • Skill in managing resource constraints and resolving conflicts.

  • Expertise in identifying and analysing risks that may impact the portfolio.

  • Ability to implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

  • Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and expectations.

  • Ability to balance competing priorities and make strategic choices.
