Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Nordics territory with a focus on Data Governance, Data Intelligence and Actian Data Management solutions.
- Drive new business growth, expand relationships with existing clients, and maximize revenue and margin KPIs.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate strategic partnerships, especially with organizations currently using competitor platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atlan or Talend.
- Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure for both enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Maintain and analyze CRM data to generate insights, track opportunities, and manage pipeline.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, ensure satisfaction, and foster long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Product to align sales strategies.
- Represent Actian at industry events, conferences, and client workshops.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior sales team members, promoting a high-performance sales culture.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in Data Governance, Enterprise Software, SaaS, Cloud, Analytics or Data Management.
- Proven experience selling to large enterprises in the Data Governance, Data Intelligence or MDM space, preferably with familiarity of competitors such as Zeenea, Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
- Commercial or technical degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with credibility among clients and colleagues as a thought leader in Data Governance and Analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at senior executive levels.
- Independent, structured, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Nordics region.
- Multilingual: Fluent in English and one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian preferred); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
