About the Role:

As a key member of the UK Field Sales Leadership team and as a Regional Sales Director for the UK Mid-market team, you will be accountable for providing leadership and management oversight to Regional Sales Managers within the UK Mid-market to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participating in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Communicating corporate strategy to employees within the UK region.

  • Planning and directing activities including sales pipeline generation, forecasting, customer relationship development and satisfaction.

  • Establishing short-term and long-term goals, metrics and quotas in line with corporate and regional objectives.

  • Identify and enable needed resources for supporting UK sales strategy.

  • Identify and qualify important Mid-market sales opportunities within the UK at the management level.

  • Act as coach, mentor and educator to all Regional Sales Managers within the UK region.

  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.

  • Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience with, knowledge of, and network within the UK market, notably within the tech industry

  • Experience in a UK first line sales leader role and having worked in a people leadership position is required

  • Passionate relationship building and executive level negotiating skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.

  • Experience as a successful Regional Sales Director with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in the UK

  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.

  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace is advantageous.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.

  • A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees.

  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.

  • Ability to work hybrid, both from home and our two UK office locations (Reading & London) plus regular customer site travel across the UK and occasional international travel.
