As a member of the Revenue & FX team, you will be a pro-active and results driven individual able to balance multiple deliverables and prioritise your work whilst satisfying a strict control environment by retaining the highest standards of governance. Ideally you will have experience in working within a busy shared services function of a similar organisation.
This role could suit an experienced Part Qualified Finance/Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge within a Global organisation with great career and development opportunities.
This role is office based in Witham but does offer hybrid working.
We will count on you to:
- Journal creation, review & approvals
- Balance sheet reconciliation review & approval
- Revenue system interface checking
- Intercompany loan entries and reconciliations
- Hedging entries and reconciliations
- Foreign Exchange analysis
- Foreign Currency exposure reporting
- Foreign Currency trading in line with exposures
- Bad Debt calculations and reconciliations
- Cancellation reserves and reconciliations
- Revenue accrual & deferral analysis
- Fiduciary reconciliations to sub ledger
- Project code analysis
- AD Hoc project work as required
What you need to have:
- Part/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Flexible and team player – able to develop close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.
- Previous proven ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest and implement process improvements.
What makes you stand out:
- Prior experience of Oracle and HFM (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in large organization or service center.
- Experience working with foreign currency.
