sales assistant

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented worker to join us as a Sales Assistant. As a Sales Assistant, you’ll work with customers on the sales floor to ensure they have a fantastic shopping experience. From informing customers about different product options to completing transactions, you’ll work with our clients from start to finish.

• Welcome customers as they enter

• Assist customers with any concerns or questions they have

• Inform customers of any current promotions and deals

• Keep informed of products the store carries and services the store offers

• Monitor inventory, restocking as needed

• Keep the sales floor organized and clean

• Encourage customers to buy products

• Hit [weekly/monthly/etc.] sales goals

• Operate cash registers and balance drawers

• Adhere to store policies and procedures

• High school diploma preferred

• [1+] year previous retail sales experience preferred

• Superb customer service skills

• Friendly, energetic personality paired with a professional appearance

• Excellent multitasking skills in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Availability to work, nights, weekends, and/or holidays

• Physically able to move around for two or more hours and lift [10+] pounds

• Basic math skills
