  • Accelerate deployment automation by reducing manual processes and improving delivery efficiency across Salesforce environments.
  • Support and coordinate Salesforce release management activities to ensure releases are planned, tested, approved, and deployed successfully.
  • Manage the movement of Salesforce metadata, configuration, and code across multiple environments using established DevOps practices.
  • Provide ongoing environment support, including provisioning, refreshes, issue resolution, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and business teams to align deployment and release activities with project objectives and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and administer version control repositories, branching strategies, and source-driven development processes.
  • Monitor and enhance deployment performance to improve reliability, quality, and speed of delivery.
  • Support change management and governance processes to ensure deployments comply with organisational standards, security requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, environment challenges, and release-related incidents to minimise business impact.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational standards.
  • Promote DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across Salesforce delivery teams.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of Salesforce DevOps tools and associated platform capabilities.
  • Provide deployment metrics, reporting, and insights to support effective decision-making and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bring experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative development environments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Possess a strong commitment to quality, governance, security, and continuous improvement.
  • Hold Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Salesforce DevOps-related certifications, desirable.
  • Bring experience operating within enterprise-scale Salesforce environments, desirable.
  • Possess knowledge of automated testing frameworks and deployment validation processes, desirable.
  • Bring familiarity with integration platforms, APIs, and enterprise application landscapes, desirable.
  • Possess experience implementing DevOps transformation initiatives and delivery process improvements, desirable.
  • Bring understanding of change management, risk management, and IT service management principles, desirable.
