About the Role: 

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Functional Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations. 

Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements Gathering: 
  • Facilitate and lead functional workshops with business users to elicit, document, and refine business requirements. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for Salesforce optimisation. 
  • Create detailed functional specifications and user stories. 
  • Salesforce Configuration: 
  • Design and configure Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud applications to meet business requirements, leveraging out-of-the-box functionalities. 
  • Customise Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules to align with business processes. 
  • Implement data management strategies, including data import, export, and cleansing. 
  • Solution Design: 
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions. 
  • Develop and document detailed design specifications, including process flows and data mapping. 
  • Provide recommendations for Salesforce best practices and configuration standards. 
  • Project Management: 
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources. 
  • Provide status updates to stakeholders and project teams. 
  • Line manage technical resources and work in a global matrix structure. 
  • User Training and Adoption: 
  • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance user adoption. 
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users. 
  • Process Improvement: 
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes and user experience. 
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to optimise Salesforce utilisation. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead with at least five years hands-on Salesforce implementation experience. 
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud functionalities and best practices.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members. 
  • Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred. 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Experience Cloud Consultant) are a plus.   

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience with Salesforce configuration tools and APIs. 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange applications. 
  • Understanding of integration with other systems. 
  • CPQ experience beneficial.
