The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Coordinator who supports the development, commercialization, and maintenance of compliant food products by assisting with regulatory reviews, scientific research, and documentation activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize regulatory database, dossiers, and compliance records
- Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of regulatory documentation (ex. product specification, ingredient line, nutrition fact, label claims, and other label information)
- Conduct preliminary regulatory assessments for new ingredients, additives, processing aids under supervision
- Assist in artwork review by verifying the label information of allergen declarations, ingredient lists, and nutrition, etc.
- Perform data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks
- Collaborate with cross functional teams like R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Legal to finalize the compliance projects in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Food Science
- 0 -1 years of experience
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Basic understanding of food regulations and standards
- Introductory knowledge of food additive regulation
- Some familiarity of label declarations
- Detail Oriented
- Clear written communication and effective verbal communication
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
