To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join us full-time as soon as possible. You would be working in a hybrid setup from our Warsaw office
What You'll Work On
- As part of our team, you will prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, utilizing entries based on US-GAAP.
- In close collaboration with local tax advisors, you will ensure that all relevant information is provided accurately and on time.
- Together with our legal department, you will review GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) calculations, ensuring they are correct and compliant with the law.
- You will identify areas for improvement in existing accounting processes and implement optimizations independently.
Your Experiences and Qualifications
- A completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification, complemented by at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, ideally in the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry, with experience in bookkeeping according to HGB.
- Familiarity with local legal requirements, particularly in relation to the preparation of financial reports in SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as a strong numerical understanding.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
