Job DescriptionAbout the Role
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of audio features for Android-based platforms. You will define architecture, guide technical decisions, and ensure high-quality audio performance for next-generation devices, including AR/VR and gaming products.
Responsibilities
Lead audio software projects and set technical direction.
Design and evolve Android audio architecture for new features.
Develop and optimize audio components for low-latency and immersive sound.
Collaborate with hardware and DSP teams to ensure robust performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues across system layers.
Stay up to date with Android platform changes and integrate new capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in C/C
Experience with Android audio frameworks (Audioflinger, Audio HAL or similar)
Knowledge of audio signal processing and DSP integration.
Ability to debug and profile audio performance.
Familiarity with Bluetooth audio and codecs
