Job Title: Senior Brand Executive

Contract: 15 Month FTC full time 37.5hrs at least 1 day in the office

Location: Salford Quays, Bupa Place / London Angel Court

Salary range: From £35,000 DOE + fantastic benefits

The role

As a Senior Brand Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the wider Brand team and running your own projects. You will champion Bupa’s Brand along with all the products and services we offer, protecting and building a stronger Bupa Brand, both internally and externally.

You will be expected to contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of business projects as part of your day-to-day role. In some cases, supporting the Senior Brand Manager, or the wider team, but on many occasions to act autonomously and independently.

The role covers Bupa but will also include working on the Bupa Foundation. The Foundation is a charity, funded entirely by Bupa.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Supporting the Senior Brand Manager or wider team, to plan, develop and execute integrated brand comms campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
  • In addition, you’ll be responsible for your own specific campaigns that you will be responsible for, from start to end. You’ll be responsible for writing briefs through to creative evaluation and delivery, across multiple touchpoints.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to create impactful campaigns that strengthen brand equity.
  • Manage relationship with external agencies from initial briefing through to final execution, taking lead on delivery and production. Have autonomy and makes independent decisions in briefing and directing the agency.
  • To be responsible for This is health integration across BUs and with agencies. To lead regular meetings with stakeholders, lead meeting and identify areas for improvement or collaboration. Reviewing format to always find opportunities to have high participation and engagement.
  • Responsible for promotion of wider Brand and Marketing Effectiveness team.
  • Responsible for new promotional opportunities and creating regular content.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role.

  •  A passion and aspiration for a career in brand or marketing that you can talk to.
  •  Knowledge and experience of brand marketing.
  • Qualifications e.g., degree level but not essential, other relevant qualifications. And / or several years of specifically brand experience.
  • Experience in briefing creative and media agencies knowing how to get the best out of our partners.
  •  Positively persuasive with strong communication skills
  • Always brings a can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable interacting with people and building relationships and influencing others.
  • A team player, open to listening, understanding challenges, and interpreting feedback.
  • Comfortable in managing conflicting points of view.
  • Confidence in liaising with more senior stakeholders on a regular basis across a variety if initiatives.
  • Ability to always considers things through the eyes of the customer as a starting place.
  • Aware of the importance in putting numbers behind thinking and proposals.
  • Can demonstrate creative evaluation from concept to delivery.
  • Planning and implementation experience in all elements of managing a brand: from brand communications through to social media and influencing.
