As PHMG continues its transformation into a more data-driven organisation, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping how our commercial teams target, prioritise and win business, while also supporting client growth, retention and service performance.

Combining strong analytical capability with sharp commercial instinct, you’ll work at the intersection of data, Sales, Client Services and strategy to deliver clear insights, scalable processes and actionable recommendations that drive revenue efficiency and enhance client outcomes.

Partnering closely with senior commercial leaders and key stakeholders, you’ll influence territory strategy, lead prioritisation, campaign targeting, pipeline optimisation and client portfolio strategy. You will also play a key role in identifying retention opportunities and improving commercial processes across the business.

About PHMG:

Established in 1998, PHMG has grown from a Manchester-founded creative business into the world’s leading audio branding agency. Today, we partner with almost 40,000 clients across more than 50 countries, including global brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, Adidas and Audi, alongside ambitious SMEs in virtually every sector. Innovation fuels everything we do. From day one, we set out to redefine audio branding by harmonising creativity, technology and measurable results. That mindset continues to shape our evolution as we expand beyond sound into a broader suite of client communication services. In 2025, PHMG entered a defining new chapter as an employee-owned business. Ownership now sits with the people who power our creativity, performance and growth. It strengthens our independence, sharpens our long-term focus and ensures success is shared. We are proud recipients of the King’s Award for Enterprise, recognised for innovation, growth and performance excellence. Today, more than 800 colleagues across six global offices collaborate to deliver work that blends artistry with commercial impact. Joining PHMG means becoming part of a people-powered, future-focused company that values creativity, champions diversity and invests in professional growth. Sound good?

Key responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with senior Sales, Client Services and commercial stakeholders to understand priorities, challenge assumptions and translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
  • Insight Communication: Present clear, commercially relevant insights to senior stakeholders and help drive confident decision-making.
  • Data Strategy & Design: Design and improve commercial data workflows that support segmentation, territory planning, campaigning, pipeline management, client portfolio planning, retention activity and service performance insight.
  • Commercial Growth Insight: Build and optimise lead enablement and client growth/retention insight approaches that improve targeting, conversion and overall revenue performance across B2B sales and existing client portfolios.
  • Commercial Process Insight: Analyse and refine Sales and Client Service processes, uncovering inefficiencies and proposing enhancements to improve conversion, retention and overall performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with BI, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Client Services teams to create scalable, reliable data processes and automation and align commercial data efforts with broader business goals.
  • Team Mentorship: Support and mentor junior commercial analysts, helping to build capability and best practice across the team.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in a stakeholder-facing data role, particularly supporting B2B Sales and Client Services teams.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to connect analysis to measurable business impact.
  • Advanced SQL and advanced Excel skills, ideally with experience using Snowflake or Fabric.
  • Experience working with CRM data, ideally Salesforce.
  • Experience designing or improving data-driven sales or Client Services workflows, campaign logic, segmentation, pipeline processes or client portfolio processes.
  • Confidence working with technical teams to support workflow automation and scalable data solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insight clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and an interest in supporting and mentoring more junior analysts.
  • Python, Databricks, Jira, MS Teams and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint desirable.
