Job Description
The Senior Contracts Attorney will support the Commercial Operations and Strategic Accounts teams within the Life Sciences Solutions Group. This role will collaborate with other colleagues to provide quality and Legal advice and support to the assigned Legal entities, sites, and businesses.
This individual will work cross-functionally with the LSG divisions, Product Management, IP, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Risk Management, Operations and Legal Centers of Excellence to facilitate business transactions and handle the contracts negotiations.

Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and seek approval for the execution of a range of commercial contracts.
- Perform analysis on legal rights, obligations, and strategies to help the Company achieve its commercial goals and objectives.
- Develop new and update existing contractual documents and constantly work with the business on improving processes to ensure efficient support.
- Respond to inquiries and advise Commercial Operations and Strategic Accounts employees on laws and internal policies.
- Deliver Legal training programs to internal clients relevant to business and contractual matters.
Education/ Experience
- 5+ years of experience in law and contracts Qualified as a lawyer in Scotland and/or England and Wales from an internationally recognised University/Institute/ law school with qualification to practice in UK jurisdictions (or equivalent).
- Experience using Malbek contract lifecycle management system preferred
- At least five years of relevant commercial contracts legal experience, preferably including in-house experience, representing life sciences and other relevant regulated-sector companies in either a multinational company Legal department or relevant department of full-service law firm
- Proven ability and experience drafting/reviewing/negotiating contractual documents
- Ability to tackle problems of diverse scope and moderate to high complexity
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive results through influence, negotiation, and organizational change
- Experience advising on the legal consequence of contract terms
