Your mission as a (Senior) Controller/FPA Analyst (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join our team. You will be working closely with the Director of Finance, independently owning all recurring and ad-hoc financial reporting, driving profitability and overall operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will have exposure to C-Level and the General Managers of our markets and will support in preparing board and management presentations, investor reporting as well as potential future fundraisings.
You will excel in this position if you possess a strong passion for technology, thrive in fast-paced and competitive environments, and seek a comprehensive role encompassing finance, operations, and commercial aspects. You will need to be ready to go out of your comfort zone and to quickly take responsibility with high accountability.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop, implement and maintain scalable and reliable reporting systems to ensure accurate insights into the business and our financials
- Drive company-wide financial planning and the development of valuable business insights
- Foster business growth through advanced financial modelling and the creation of business cases for strategic growth opportunities (including potential M&A targets)
- Monitor and assess the macroeconomic environment, outlook, and industry-specific trends and link them to business performance
- Support in annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, and controlling processes while actively managing our cash flow
- Coordinate and liaise with external stakeholders, and prepare and deliver key outputs for our management team to facilitate informed strategic decisions
You will thrive in this role if
- You hold a Master's degree or MBA in Finance or a related field
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a high-responsibility, fast-paced controlling/FP&A environment
- You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and understand what needs to be done to win in a competitive field
- You bring proven experience in building finance and reporting structures, preferably in an international SaaS Scale-Up or similar fast-paced environment
- You are fluent in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is advantageous
- You bring a positive, helpful, and independent attitude
- You are naturally curious and enjoy creative problem-solving, such as delving into large datasets to identify patterns and innovative ways to enhance business performance
