The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to own and elevate how Incard communicates its product, value, and brand across every customer touchpoint.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of product, brand, and growth. You’ll translate complex financial workflows into clear, confident, and compelling language that helps entrepreneurs understand, trust, and adopt Incard.
This is not a content factory role. It’s an operator role with real ownership over product messaging, website copy, and customer-facing communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Website Copy OwnershipOwn and write Incard’s website and product copy, including:
Landing pages, feature pages, pricing, and positioning
In-app messaging, onboarding flows, and tooltips
Product launches and feature announcements
Translate complex financial and technical concepts into simple, benefit-led language
Ensure clarity, consistency, and precision across all customer-facing copy
Define, document, and evolve Incard’s tone of voice
Act as the guardian of language across marketing, product, and lifecycle communications
Ensure copy reflects real product value — not generic fintech marketing
Maintain a high editorial bar and strong point of view on language
Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape user journeys through words
Write and refine UX copy that improves comprehension, activation, and feature adoption
Challenge complexity and remove friction through clear language
Help turn product features into clear acquisition and retention levers
Contribute copy to:
Email and lifecycle communications
Campaigns, announcements, and product launches
Partnerships and co-branded initiatives
Adapt messaging across channels while keeping a consistent core narrative
Support experimentation by testing different angles, headlines, and value propositions
Edit and elevate copy written by others
Ensure consistency across surfaces, markets, and formats
Continuously improve copy based on performance data, feedback, and user insights
Kill what doesn’t work; double down on what resonates
7–10+ years of experience in copywriting, content, or brand roles
Proven experience writing product-led, UX, and website copy for tech or SaaS products
Experience working in high-growth startups or scale-ups
Strong editorial background with excellent judgment and taste
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Deep understanding of how language drives clarity, trust, and conversion
Product-oriented thinker who understands user flows and decision-making
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Growth
High ownership, high standards, low ego
Experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure
Familiarity with B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or platform businesses
Experience supporting international or multi-market products
Background in UX writing, content strategy, or brand systems
This role can be based in London, with hybrid work.
