The Senior Data Engineer will design and oversee scalable data pipelines and ETL processes while leading a team and ensuring data quality and performance.

Within just a couple of years, our team has grown by more than 80%, we have moved into a new spacious and modern office, and we have embarked on several exciting projects in digital transformation, custom software, and robotics.
We are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Engineer that will design, architect and oversee the development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and mentor a team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
- Design and evolve robust data models and architectures
- Ensure high standards for data quality, reliability, and monitoring
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and product teams
- Lead technical decisions across the data engineering stack
- Improve platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Mentor engineers and champion engineering best practices
- Support the delivery of reliable, well-documented, production-grade data solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering roles
- Former experience in a leadership or mentoring position
- Strong knowledge of data modeling methodologies and Data Warehousing practices
- Advanced experience with Azure technologies (Databricks, Data Factory etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, Python
- Solid experience in designing and implementing ETL processes
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and scalable system design
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
