Job Description

We're looking for a Senior CRM Designer to join our CRM team in London. You'll be helping our 35+ strong global CRM team run as smoothly as possible, to get millions of our customers excited about what Wise has to offer.

As the Senior CRM Designer, you’ll be a key member of the CRM team, working collaboratively with our in-team designer and copywriters to deliver campaigns of the highest quality. You will be responsible for leading the design for emails and comms that help Wise reach millions of customers around the world.

You have a passion for crafting visually compelling email campaigns, and a deep understanding of how integral design is to CRM performance. You’re a curious A/B tester, as well as an efficiency driver to spot opportunities to scale CRM Design to support our growing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for key internal stakeholders - building rapport, trust and collaborative working relationships.
  • Drive creative vision by presenting your work in a clear, compelling way that shows creative and thoughtful responses to briefs, and mentor others to do the same.
  • You’ll lead the CRM design team to create visually appealing email templates that champion our brand guidelines and are laser-focused on our marketing objectives.
  • You’ll develop a strategic A/B Testing Framework for understanding design’s impact on core CRM metrics.
  • You’ll develop our CRM Design System, and be responsible for scaling our design function in line with our growing CRM team.
  • Design and implement responsive layouts that provide optimal viewing experiences across various devices and email clients, incorporative multimedia elements.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Have Strategic Impact - your work will define how millions of Wise customers around the globe interact with the Wise brand, allowing you to shape a core pillar of the customer experience
  • Lead and Develop - you’ll be encouraged to grow and take on more responsibilities, and you’ll have the freedom to decide what those are! But if that sounds a bit scary, we’ve got some nice people to help you along the way.
  • Work with Autonomy - you’ll have the freedom to define processes and strategy for improving creative quality and team efficiency.
  • Be Analytical and Creative - you’ll get to balance data and creativity to measure the effectiveness of your team’s work

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role. Enterprise CRM experience preferable.
  • Strong portfolio of high-impact emails that demonstrate great typographic, layout, art direction and technical skills across all things email.
  • Proven experience in designing responsive email campaigns and templates.
  • Proficient in Figma and email software (e.g., Stripo, Braze).
  • Experience designing in multiple languages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects and people simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with email automation tools and CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and troubleshooting.
  • Desirable: Knowledge in HTML, CSS
