In Liquidity domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business more smoothly. The clients that will be using and/or benefiting from results of your work range from small businesses to well-known multinational corporates (many of which you know and use their products). The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and off-balance sheet investments. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work in the team located in Berlin and will help to deliver next-generation Liquidity services for Corporate Bank. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the reusable engineering solutions and automation of processes. Focus will be on implementation and integration of reusable CI/CD pipelines, and on migration of Liquidity services to the Google Cloud.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reusable CI/CD, automation, and monitoring components, keeping focus on quality and development teams experience.
• Perform engineering assessments of existing pipelines and automation approaches. Adopt new components, pipelines, and automation solutions.
• Assist development teams with their ongoing activities, help them to resolve infrastructure and automation issues.
• Take the long-term responsibility for your tools and projects, contribute to their sustainable development, testing, and maintenance.
• Contribute to introduction and adoption of modern industry practices among development teams.

Your skills and experiences

• Deep understanding of common development tasks and problems. Background in Development, Quality Assurance, or SRE is a plus.
• Solid technical background in software development processes and hands-on experience with the tools that we use:
  • VCS: Git, Bitbucket, GitHub
  • CI/CD/Build: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Jib, Maven, NPM
  • Deployments, configuration, and infrastructure management: Docker, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Liquibase
  • Monitoring & SRE: Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk
  • DevSecOps: SonarQube, JFrog Xray, Veracode
  • Scripting: Groovy
• Hands-on experience with container-based environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure). Strong knowledge of GCP and Terraform is a big plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, readiness to take ownership of your tasks, attention to details, and constant wish to improve.
