We are seeking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud DevOps Department within our Group IT Systems Management Division.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of Agile development responsible for delivering end-to-end automations of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will produce concrete benefit to the DevOps team of the Bank, finding innovative ways to speed up or synchronize processes, making them more seamless and bring 100 percent peak effectiveness in daily operating processes.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Building and configuring delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology.
- Creating scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks, increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Monitoring and supporting all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively, evaluating application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, developing solutions, and implementing them with the help of Development teams.
- Participating in defining the DevOps technology roadmap, toolsets and strategies based on industry best-practices.
Requirements
- Familiar with containerization platforms, such as Docker, Kubernetes.
- Have a solid understanding and background in networking, VIPs, firewalls and load balancers.
- Security minded, applying company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Self driven, deadline and closure oriented
- Active learner of Digital Accelerator modules – Will be considered an important asset
