  • Define the digital roadmap and promotional calendar, creating clear briefs and prioritising high-quality delivery across content, CRM, promotions and channels.

  • Develop a customer-led content strategy across website, search, CRM and social, using insight, creativity and responsible AI to drive engagement and conversion.

  • Own the UK SEO strategy, covering keyword research, technical SEO, content optimisation and organic growth.

  • Lead paid search, SEO and specialist agencies, setting clear objectives and holding partners accountable for KPIs, service and commercial outcomes.

  • Define and deliver a leading social media strategy that builds brand relevance, customer engagement and measurable growth.

  • Own the affiliate platform and partner strategy, growing existing relationships and securing new partners to deliver profitable growth.

  • Set the CRM strategy and annual contact plan across email and app, using insight, segmentation and testing to deliver relevant customer journeys.

  • Own digital budgets, forecasting and cost control, directing investment to maximise ROI, CPA and ROAS.

  • Support the commercial performance of Travelex.co.uk and the Travelex app, using data and customer insight to identify opportunities, manage risks and recommend action.

  • Set measurement frameworks and deliver clear performance reporting, turning complex data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • Partner with Pricing to develop effective promotions, securing Legal and Compliance approvals and meeting governance requirements.

  • Build influential relationships across Product, eCommerce, Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and external partners to align priorities and drive delivery.

  • Track digital, e-commerce, customer and competitor trends, using a test-and-learn approach to evolve strategy and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Provide visible digital leadership, setting high standards and fostering a collaborative, accountable and performance-focused culture.

About you

  • At least eight years’ performance or digital marketing experience, gained client-side or agency-side, with strong online and e-commerce exposure.

  • Deep knowledge of the digital customer journey and key acquisition and retention channels, including SEO, paid search, paid social, display, affiliates and CRM.

  • Proven experience managing significant paid media budgets, optimising channel investment and improving commercial performance.

  • Highly analytical and solutions-focused, with strong numerical skills and commercial acumen; able to turn complex data into clear insight and action.

  • Confident using analytics, advertising and affiliate platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, DV360, StackAdapt and Meta.

  • Strong creative judgement and copywriting skills, with the ability to produce compelling, customer-focused communications.
