About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to make a real impact on our business performance. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting and insights that drive business change and support informed decision-making at the highest levels. With a focus on both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in supporting Ocado Group through its year-end reporting processes.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in FP&A or from an audit role with some relevant experience outside of practice. The role has become available due to an internal promotion, and we’re looking for someone who can seamlessly step in and contribute to our continued success.

Accountabilities

  • Supporting the delivery of the period-end review by owning the relevant Group accounts
  • Support segmental reporting of the Group
  • Liaise with and review each segment’s performance, including our Joint Venture, Ocado Retail
  • Own various internal and external FP&A reporting required to drive business performance and support external stakeholders, including our investors and analysts
  • Produce analysis and investor-ready content to support Investor Relations through year-end
  • Produce analysis to understand revenue and cost, as required, across the P&L and cash flow
  • Review and interpret the balance sheet to evaluate movements and provide appropriate commercial analysis
  • Other relevant FP&A tasks, as required

About you

  • Over 4 years’ experience in a Finance based role
  • Experience in Commercial Finance, Group Finance, FP&A or Practice will be relevant
  • Relevant accounting qualification, or equivalent experience (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA)
  • High levels of resilience and positivity and exceptional attention to detail
  • Willing to take a hands-on approach to solving business problems, never heard saying ‘that’s not my job’
