The role / impact

As Go To Market (GTM) Senior Manager, you will support the UK execution of key GTM initiatives and strategic programmes of work. You will bring clarity to key focus areas across the UK region, collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure global product deliveries have a cohesive local go-to-market plan.

Acting as a key partner to regional leadership and cross-functional teams, you will define and evolve the UK GTM operating model while driving operational excellence through AI-augmented ways of working. Your work will directly impact how seamlessly customer initiatives land across the UK region.

The team & how they connect

The UK Strategy & Operations team acts as the primary conduit between regional Go To Market teams (including Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing) and global functions such as Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations. We work collaboratively to drive regional operational priorities, align product delivery schedules, and provide quality market insights. Together, we connect strategic direction with regional execution to deliver best-in-class outcomes for our customers.

Initially, you will focus on

  • Defining and evolving the regional GTM operating model to improve how product initiatives land in the UK market.

  • Maintaining central GTM release calendars and roadmaps using project management tools such as Asana and Jira.

  • Establishing cross-functional alignment forums between global product groups and regional commercial teams.

  • Championing AI tools and automated workflows (such as Claude) to streamline coordination, reporting, and cross-team communication.

Where and how you can work

We offer a flexible, hybrid working environment where you can balance working from home with time spent in our UK office spaces. We encourage intentional time together for team connection and collaboration on designated boost days, ensuring you have the autonomy and support to do your best work.

Xero is a Great Place to Work UK accredited.

Here are some of the things we are looking for

  • You bring proven experience in GTM, operations, or project management, with a strong ability to influence senior stakeholders in global organisations.

  • Practical background using project management and roadmapping tools such as Asana or Jira to coordinate complex programmes of work.

  • Fluency with AI tools to accelerate reporting, automate workflows, and coach team members on modern ways of working.

  • You excel at building trusted relationships across diverse disciplines, including Product, Sales, and Marketing.

  • Clear communication skills with an ability to create direction and make sound trade-off decisions in ambiguous environments.

Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
