The role


The Senior HR Advisor, will support the Financial Planning arm (Advice pillar) of Titan Wealth Group, joining a team of two in the advice pillar, and reporting into the Senior People Business Partner.


You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating a wide variety of HR activities, as well as providing effective employment law, policy guidance and overall proactive support to the business. This is a critical hands-on role; supporting managers and the Senior People Business Partner with key ER activities, building management capability through training and coaching practices, revising and applying policy best practice, as well as, fostering a positive, supportive and high performing culture.


The opportunity is a hybrid role, working 3-days a week in the Bristol office, and the remaining will be homebased or office based, as the individual prefers. You'll succeed and thrive in this role if you navigate uncertainty and change well, are a critical and curious thinker, asking questions to understand full context and best approach to support and mitigate risk where necessary.


You'll be a high performer, used to delivering results, solution centric, collaborative with a consultative approach in your day to day work and when building effective and lasting relationships. We are going through tremendous amount of change, through rapid growth by acquisition, so you need to be comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, with an adaptable attitude to varying priorities.

  • Advise and support on all employee relation activities, including absence, capability and performance, all types of leave, grievance, and disciplinaries - escalating to the Senior People Business as and when appropriate.
  • Provide HR support and note taking at formal meetings, hearings and appeals as necessary - coaching and guiding managers accordingly
  • Work closely with the People Generalist to analyse exit interview trends, and analyse other HR data as requested
  • Revising and Implementing people policies and procedures - educating the business on both
  • Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with the people generalist
  • Support in building management capability through designing, and leading on training initiatives; in collaboration with the People Generalist
  • Assist with BI annual reward and salary review process.
  • Escalate reward and benefit queries to the Payroll and benefits manager
  • Assist and work closely with managers on the Performance management review and process and escalate to Senior People BP as needed.
  • Assist on employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with the People Generalist
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency.
  • This role may require travel to our offices across the UK and potentially internationally.
  • To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
  • Adhere to consumer duty.

Requirements

  • Qualified to CIPD level 5 or equivalent
  • Experience of working in the private sector, ideally fast paced business's going through rapid growth
  • Financial Services experience preferred
  • Strong ER experience, and able to articulate best practice approach
  • Experience with integrations/ TUPE is highly advantageous, but not essential - an want to learn a must.
  • Ability to work autonomously within the framework of the applicable policies
  • Knowledge of employment law essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong employment law experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player, consultative and collaborative, with a can do attitude
