Job Description

We are looking for an experienced individual to ensure audit readiness across the global business.

This role will be instrumental in coordinating financial crime-related audits, including regulatory, internal, and external audits. The successful candidate will drive audit preparedness, documentation governance, stakeholder coordination, and reporting, ensuring a structured and efficient audit process.

This position offers cross-functional exposure, working with Compliance, Risk, Product Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders to strengthen audit execution and risk management practices.
Your mission

  • Coordinate and manage audit preparation activities, ensuring timely collection and organization of necessary documents.

  • Identify and engage the right stakeholders to provide input for audits.

  • Track, monitor, and respond to auditor queries, ensuring accuracy and consistency of responses across various teams.

  • Align with existing remediation efforts, preventing duplication of issues.

  • Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor audit progress.

  • Provide regular updates and escalation reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Stay informed on the annual audit plan, keep teams updated, and actively monitor challenges.

  • Review and challenge reports in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and alignment before finalization.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in audit, risk, compliance, or financial crime within a financial institution or fintech.

  • Strong understanding of financial crime regulations, audit frameworks, and risk governance. Familiarity with group-wide audit and risk assessment frameworks.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously, engage with cross-functional teams, and ensure structured execution.

  • Proficiency in audit management tools, issue tracking systems, and data analysis tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Ideally, you will live within a commutable distance to the London office. Salary range for this role is £85,000-£115,000 + RSU.
