Collaboration with Data Engineering
  • Partner with Data Engineering to resolve data quality issues and understand upstream changes.

  • Support effective hand-offs between data pipelines, models, and MI outputs, providing MI/operational feedback.

Governance & consistency
  • Uphold MI governance standards (KPI definitions, calculation logic, and change control).

  • Reduce metric drift and duplication by acting as a point of reference for operational measures and governance forums.

Continuous improvement (stability-led)
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and strengthen MI in collaboration with the team.

  • Improve clarity, usability, and performance of reporting while protecting stability and trust.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience delivering operational MI in a team-based function, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.

  • Power BI experience (data models, DAX, report maintenance) and strong SQL for validation, investigation, and reconciliation.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with MI peers and data specialists to resolve issues and maintain shared standards.

  • Comfortable in BAU environments where reliability and collective ownership are critical.

  • Team player who values shared standards and collective success.

  • Calm and dependable in business-critical MI environments.

  • Confident challenging data quality issues constructively.

  • Clear communicator with technical colleagues and operational leaders; pragmatic and delivery focused.

  • Experience partnering with Data Engineering or central data teams.

  • Familiarity with MI governance or performance management frameworks.
