About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior People Systems Analyst to lead the strategic design and optimization of our talent development solutions, including engagement, learning, performance, skills, and career growth. This role is instrumental in shaping how we implement and scale our talent management and experience strategy through Deel’s platform. By delivering solutions to empower impactful team member growth and reinforcing our high-performance culture, you will directly impact our success as we scale and build a generational company. You will collaborate closely with the People Experience Team to drive the successful delivery of talent initiatives and also partner with our Product team to influence the roadmap and evolution of our engagement and talent development tools as customer zero.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology & Optimization

Act as the functional expert for talent technologies, including Deel’s internal talent management systems.

Serve as the primary system administrator, troubleshooting platform issues and ensuring data integrity and quality experiences across talent management products.

Drive our development roadmap to support internal needs. Partner with technical teams to design, configure, and implement new feature enhancements, and introduce innovative technologies within our stack.

Manage end-to-end solution delivery—including gathering requirements, documenting user stories, testing solutions, and ensuring successful rollouts.

Track system performance and adoption, using feedback to improve functionality.

Stay updated on industry best practices and workforce development trends, sharing knowledge and insights with relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Partner with People Experience, HRBP, and business leaders to refine talent development strategies and programs.

Operate as a liaison between R&D teams and functional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, prioritization, and alignment.

Develop user guides, training materials, and change management plans to support adoption.
Systems Thinking & Problem Solving

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges, goals, and critical needs.

Approach problems with curiosity to identify root causes of issues and develop effective, scalable solutions

Ensure learning, performance, and career development programs are effective, intuitive and globally scalable.

Assess dependencies and optimize workflows for efficiency.

Translate business needs into system enhancements and process improvements.
Project Management & Execution

Plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.

Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.

Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and within scope.

Ensure clear communication of project updates, roadblocks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Data-Driven Decision Making

Work closely with People Data teams to design and deliver meaningful insights and analytics.

Use data to uncover opportunities for improvement, measure the success of initiatives, and inform future decisions.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with security and privacy standards.
What You Bring:
-
5+ years of system administration experience with HRIS, HCM, Learning (LMS/LXP) and Talent Management solutions.

Deep understanding of People (HR) philosophy and strategy—having worked closely to define and deploy successful people development programs in hyper-growth organizations, at scale.

Proven experience in People systems administration with a focus on workforce agility—learning, performance, skills, and career development.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and feedback to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including People, IT, engineering, and product teams, to drive platform improvements.

A problem-solving mindset with a passion for advancing the employee experience through digital tools and technology.

Excellent project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution.

Clear communication and ability to challenge or drive for successful outcomes

Familiarity with automation, integrations, and workflow optimizations in People technology stacks.

Understands confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintains confidentiality.

Experience working in a globally distributed team

Experience in fast-paced, high-growth /pre-IPO technology companies is highly preferred.

Proficiency with Google Office suite preferred.

Prior experience with Deel preferred.
