Senior Platform Engineer

Are you looking for an exciting challenge? As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing Civica’s cloud-based platforms. With your expertise, you’ll ensure that our systems are not only efficient and reliable but also secure and scalable. You will work on our externally facing platforms that empower our engineering teams to deliver outstanding services, as well as contribute to crafting our internal developer platform from scratch.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust architecture that supports our cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure our internal and external systems are efficient, secure, and scalable.
• Contributing to the evolution of our developer platform, allowing for faster and more innovative software development.
• Tackling complex technical challenges, offering creative solutions that enhance productivity.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to your teammates, nurturing their growth and success.
• Influencing our company-wide architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with best practices.

Your Experience:

• Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services familiarity is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong scripting and automation skills to streamline operations.
• Proficient in Linux administration and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• A passion for DevOps concepts and practices, and a desire to work in hybrid cloud environments.
