The Senior Product Analyst at Zopa will analyze lending funnel performance, define key metrics, and support growth initiatives in UPL.
At Zopa, Analysts are the people who turn curiosity into clarity and data into direction. We’re a bank built on doing things differently — and scaling fast. Over the past two years, we’ve grown more than 25% year-on-year. As we continue to expand, thoughtful, high-quality analytics becomes even more important — not just to explain performance, but to unlock new growth.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Unsecured Personal Loans (UPL) Tribe — someone commercially sharp, creatively curious and analytically rigorous, who wants to shape the future of one of the UK’s leading lending products.
The Role
This is a high-performing, established tribe with ambitious goals for the year ahead. The focus is not on building from scratch, but on accelerating growth, fine-tuning performance and unlocking new streams of value.
You will be the embedded Product Analyst supporting originations, conversion, and in-life customer servicing. You’ll partner closely with Product, Credit Risk, Decisioning and Commercial teams, with strong visibility across leadership given UPL’s central role in Zopa’s performance.
You’ll sit within the tribe day-to-day while reporting into a central Product Analytics team — combining deep domain ownership with the support of a strong analytics cohort.
This role suits someone who enjoys working on products at maturity: refining what works, challenging assumptions and identifying creative ways to grow in a competitive market.
About the Unsecured Personal Loans (UPL) Tribe
UPL is Zopa’s largest and most profitable lending product, serving around 6% of the UK unsecured personal loans market. It anchors the bank’s unit economics and has delivered sustained growth over several years.
As the product matures, the focus is on accelerating sustainable growth while maintaining strong unit economics. This means continually improving how we acquire, approve and support customers — refining conversion, reducing friction and embedding lending more seamlessly into the broader Zopa ecosystem.
The tribe works across both optimisation and innovation: enhancing core journeys, improving decisioning through smarter use of data, and exploring new ways to meet customer borrowing needs in a competitive market.
Great analytics here directly influences revenue, customer experience and long-term value creation.
