We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join this journey - discover user needs, shape new features and improve existing ones, driving initiatives that enhance the product experience.
Your work will directly shape how millions of people experience CleanMyMac - and, in turn, their Macs.
In this role, you will:
- Design an amazing and thoughtful macOS experience that addresses the user's value, along with the business needs
- Support the discovery of new ideas and concepts for CleanMyMac in a changing market
- Work with user researches and product tests to identify user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns to inform the design process and validate design decisions
- Maintain and develop design systems, style guides, and UI components to ensure consistency and scalability across the product
- Generate ideas along with teammates, the Product Manager, and the engineering team to help the product become even better
- Participate in the product and/or company's design community initiatives through developing better communication, mutual choice of tools, experience, knowledge, and feedback exchange, launch, and coordination of additional projects in the area
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends to ensure our designs are modern and relevant
Skills you'll need to bring:
- 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2C desktop products (macOS experience is a big plus).
- Proven expertise and a strong portfolio in end-to-end product design - from business goal to polished UI with context, not just visuals
- Deep knowledge of component architecture, auto-layout, variants, styles, and scalable design systems in Figma
- Ability to prototype (Low to High-fidelity) using Figma or other tools like Framer, Principle, etc
- Ownership of complex design domains end-to-end, with the ability to navigate them through cross-functional collaboration. Skilled in asking the right questions, framing trade-offs, and facilitating conversations that drive clarity
- A strong understanding of how design influences business outcomes, with a habit of diving into user problems, product metrics, and technical constraints to inform design decisions
- Basic working knowledge of product analytics (funnels, cohorts, A/B tests) with a data-informed approach to validating design decisions
- At least an Upper-intermediate level of English
As a plus:
- Experience with creating designs for AI products
- Basic understanding of front-end constraints and implementation realities
- Experience with graphic design and creating clear, visually appealing layouts
- Basic skills in motion design, and adding simple animations or transitions
- Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines for Mac, understanding the aesthetics of Apple products
