This role is open to applicants located in Canada.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
"Getting Paid" is the moment of truth for every small business. Whether you’re a plumber, electrician, or HVAC professional, the work isn't done until the money is in the bank. Yet for many Pros, getting paid is the most stressful part of the job: late invoices, paper checks, awkward collections, and cash flow gaps.

Jobber exists to fix this. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a critical piece of Jobber’s financial engine. This is a front and center role, leading one of the fastest-growing parts of our business. You will drive a direct impact on Jobber’s growth while delivering innovative financial solutions that help small businesses succeed.

The team:

Our Fintech team is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this growing area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful.

Whether it’s helping small businesses get paid using Jobber Payments, getting access to capital to invest in growth, or offering financing to our customers’ customers, we believe small business owners should have seamless access to financial tools that allow them to thrive. Simply put, we care much more about our customers than any financial institution ever will. That’s our superpower.

The role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is excited by the idea of transforming the way small businesses get paid.

In this role, you will lead the product strategy and execution for a core area of our financial ecosystem. You will own the experiences that determine how our customers discover, adopt, and rely on our financial tools to run healthier businesses.

Whether you are streamlining the core invoicing workflow to save Pros time, or creating seamless paths for them to adopt digital payments, your goal is to build software that drives meaningful business impact for both our customers and Jobber. You will work to build trust, remove friction, and turn a source of stress into a competitive advantage for our customers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end product development for revenue-critical workflows, from the moment a job is finished through to the final payment collection.

  • Drive measurable business impact, ensuring that every improvement not only helps the customer succeed but contributes to Jobber’s goals.

  • Define and execute an outcome-driven roadmap that balances core workflow improvements (making it easier to bill) with growth initiatives (driving adoption of financial tools).

  • Treat financial workflows as growth levers, using customer insights and data to identify where friction exists and how value can be surfaced earlier in the user journey.

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to deliver consumer-grade experiences that simplify complex financial tasks for small business owners.

  • Collaborate with internal domain experts (Risk, Payments, GTM) to build compliant, scalable, and compelling paths into our financial tools.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, specifically advocating for the small business owner navigating challenges getting paid, from administrative burden to cash flow gaps.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, owning complex, customer-facing product areas within a SaaS or platform business.

  • Experience with Vertical SaaS, workflow tools, or B2B platforms. You understand how to balance flexibility with ease of use in professional-grade software.

  • A track record of shipping high-quality products that drove meaningful adoption, engagement, or revenue outcomes. You know how to move metrics.

  • Strong product intuition for commercial workflows. You don't need to be a payments expert, but you should understand the "business of doing business" (invoicing, billing, cash flow, or checkout experiences).

  • Comfort operating in high-visibility areas. You can navigate the intersection of user experience, technical constraints, and business revenue goals.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align cross-functional partners and energize a team around a shared vision.

Bonus points (but not a deal-breaker) if you have:

  • Experience in Fintech (invoicing, payments, lending) or Accounting Workflows (invoicing, AR, bookkeeping)

Compensation:

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $145,900, a midpoint of $171,600, and a maximum salary of $197,400, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience, and against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.

Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us, too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.

We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!

What you can expect from Jobber:

  • A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, matching in RRSP, TFSA or FHSA, and stock options.

  • A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.

  • A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.

  • To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
