Project Management - About the Team

The Project Management team are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of agency services across the full client portfolio. This team is 15 strong and is integral to the business and project success. The team continue to grow and develop delivery skills day to day, strive to deliver consistently high standards, whilst at the same time thriving in the fast-paced creative agency environment.

About The Role 

The Senior Project Manager will lead multiple projects and workstreams, bringing a level of experience and expertise that can handle more complex projects and accounts comfortably.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers projects to high service standards to agency process and is a role model to more junior members of the team.
  • Works closely with Project Lead to cost projects in a commercially and operationally efficient manner.
  • Proactively identify project risks and building mitigation plans and solutions with the Project Lead.
  • Agency system first response to all reporting and status requirements – advocating use process across the business.
  • Delivers strong project status reporting adapting to the needs of client and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure resources are allocated to projects at each phase aligned to budget and scope.
  • Manages scope and budget in a timely and pro-active manner with clients directly - handling confidently and with client centric delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget analysing systems data throughout, escalating according to process where needed.
  • Lead best practice project communications - including, kick-offs, status meetings, team stands ups and follow up with timely communication.
  • Maintain all project documentation and system requirements to hight standards throughout the lifecycle.
  • Clearly navigate the dependencies and risks both internally and with clients – providing scenarios and solutions every step of the way.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are clear and kept accountable for their contributions to the project and the delivery success
  • Strong ability to manage various individuals and teams from across the agency, including production, creative, and account management.
  • Key point of contact and knowledge holder for projects – always present and helpful to our colleagues and clients
  • Manage expectations by ensuring creative or production ideas are realistic and achievable and be the voice of reason as project risks increase or scope changes.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience defining client estimates and SOW’s in a creative agency.
  • Great client facing and client management skills
  • Ability to own key accounts and deliver complex and high value projects with self-sufficiency
  • Strong ability to adapt, be flexible and collaborate with team members
  • Exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience of delivering a variety of integrated projects for platforms including television, digital, online and social – including creative and production.
  • Experience on-boarding new clients and maintaining client / agency ways of working
  • Systems lead approach PM practices and delivery with good understanding of PM methodology.
  • Approachable, unflappable and ability to pivot to client needs
  • Confident communicator (in person and on email), pathfinder and problem solver.
  •  Interest and appreciation of high-quality creative output
  • 5+ years experience – creative industry experience essential.
