Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend systems that support AI-enabled and data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Contribute to data preprocessing, feature engineering, and inference pipelines supporting AI workflows.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services powering fintech products.
- Participate in multi-tenant service development, ensuring secure and reliable data handling.
- Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and regression testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Support team growth by sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced developers.
- Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability, supporting the evolution of AI-enabled features.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of Python back end development experience, ideally in AI-enabled applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, HuggingFace Transformers, or similar, plus NumPy, Pandas, and Pydantic.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services (e.g., FastAPI or similar).
- Exposure to cloud environments, containerization, and CI/CD workflows (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, model inference, and feature pipelines.
- Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Fintech or Financial Services is advantageous.
