About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Developer to join our fast-paced and collaborative R&D centre in Galway, Ireland. As part of our growing eCommerce engineering team, you’ll contribute to building the next-generation, cloud-native SaaS platform that supports purpose-driven organizations across the globe.
In this role, you will focus on developing and enhancing our eCommerce capabilities, building scalable integrations with third-party services, and delivering secure, high-performance cloud solutions.
You’ll work closely with product management, architects, and cross-functional teams to build robust services that scale—and you'll have the chance to grow your leadership capabilities in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable eCommerce services within our Azure and AWS environments.
- Implement APIs, billing integrations, identity/authentication services, and messaging components.
- Integrate external APIs and third-party systems while ensuring data privacy and secure exchanges.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our development practices.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver value iteratively.
- Contribute to documentation of code, service interactions, and architectural decisions.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally working with cloud-based services.
- Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and modern development frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, billing platforms (e.g., Maxio, Chargebee), and secure data integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Azure DevOps or Git).
- Understanding of modern architectural principles including microservices and event-driven design.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in application security and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
