Join the plugins team to extract data using CloudQuery's open-source ELT framework. Responsibilities include working on source and destination plugins, leading projects from implementation to release, and supporting users with feature documentation and feedback.
CloudQuery is a growing Series A startup in the data space and the creator of the open-source, high-performance ELT framework powered by Apache Arrow. CloudQuery enables data movement for SREs, platform teams and security teams in Fortune 500 companies. We're seeking a talented individual to join our plugins team to help our users extract data from different cloud- and security-related APIs, using our open source ELT framework written in Go.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the engineering team and product team on both existing and new CloudQuery source and destination plugins.
- Lead features end-to-end from RFC→Implementation→Testing→Documentation→Release
- Provide support for users on how to best use the developed plugin and incorporate their feedback into features and documentation.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- 1+ year of experience in Go.
- Experienced with SQL
- Good Experience with using/operating one of the large cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure
- Self-guided, Resourceful, Excellent communicator
- Championing automation to reduce toil and increase development velocity
- English as spoken and written English to be able to write solid documentation for new features you develop.
