Key Responsibilities

To design and build world-class applications and services that meet the needs of our global customer community. Our platform must be stable and resilient, highly secure and yet adaptable to change since we are adding new features and products all the time. You can expect to use cutting-edge approaches to problem-solving and we want you to keep learning.

As a Software Engineer, you will support and mentor other engineers, review code and help deliver the best solutions possible. You will need to collaborate planning work, producing estimates with the team, and ensure tests can be depended on. You will be collaborating with other teams Product Owners, Analysts, Architects and DevOps specialists etc., sharing and learning together. You will need to plan work systematically, communicate effectively and ensure documentation is clear and up to date.

  • Solve complex problems with clarity and creativity

  • Work with other engineers and teams who are aligned towards the same goal with many opportunities for cross-team influence, architecture, and collaboration.

  • Implement the technical direction and enhancements for microservices written in .net that the team manages

  • Design and build new microservices and help to bring them to production quickly

  • Be a key contributor in setting the teams technical direction, best practices for team

  • Be a key contributor in the estimation of technical roadmap for team and services that the team manages

  • Ensure code quality by writing automated tests 

  • Work closely with Product Owners and other Development teams to define requirements that they can use to implement with best-in-class technology

Capabilities and Experience

This role is perfect for a Software Engineer who loves to tackle complex problems and come up with clean, stable solutions that scale. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a genuine passion for designing and implementing elegant software solutions.

  • 3/4+ years of hands-on development experience including all aspects of object-oriented programming and genuine expertise with Microsoft .Net Core, C#, and supporting technologies.

  • Strong front-end development experience using technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3.0, materialize, and bootstrap frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

  • Fluency in Synchronous/Asynchronous communication via Web APIs or Messaging patterns.

  • Knowledge and experience developing on microservice architecture.

  • Experience with SQL databases and constructing complex queries.

  • Proficiency in Git or similar Source Control systems

  • Understanding of container-based development such as Docker.

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Ability to document and provide knowledge transfer materials for work completed.

  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes.

  • Ability to break down complex problems into logical and manageable constructs.

  • Willingness to see through a project from inception to completion.

  • Be open to create automated tests to guarantee the code quality
