Senior Specialist, Marketing Financial Planning
The Marketing Financial Planner is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, execution, and reporting of marketing A&M budget. This role ensures accurate purchase order management, timely invoice processing, reliable forecasting, and strict adherence to monthly financial targets. Acting as a key finance partner to marketing teams, the position requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across markets and regional teams, providing clear financial insights and supporting informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities• Own the marketing budget planning process, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.• Monitor actual spend versus forecast, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions to stay on track with approved targets.• Lead the end-to-end process for opening and managing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and timelines.• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely submission, review, and processing of invoices to meet forecast.• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports requested by regional and global marketing teams.• Develop clear, accurate dashboards and trackers to provide visibility into budget status, forecast accuracy, and key financial metrics.• Serve as a trusted finance partner for marketing leaders, budget owners, vendors and regional finance counterparts across different geographies.• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy across markets.
All about you• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineer, or a related field.• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or marketing finance roles.• Analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with cross functional and geographically dispersed teams.• High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a fast paced environment.• Financial acumen and analytical thinking• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (budget tracking, forecasting models, variance analysis, and reporting).• Ability to build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and standardized financial reports for regional and global stakeholders.
