As part of the geo expansion squad, which looks after Onfido’s strategy to grow in new target markets, we are striving to ensure that the local regulatory landscape is well understood and that our product is well positioned in the market. This is a highly cross-functional effort and TPMs are the beating heart of such collaboration. 

You will use your technical expertise along with your organizational skills to work on complex, multi-disciplinary programs from inception and discovery to execution and go to market. You will be supporting a core team of experts to map out compliance landscapes, identify relevant certification schemes, conduct product gap analyses, develop new product features and coordinate conformity assessments. You’ll work with Product Managers to find the best route to success and ensure that engineering, applied science, sales, marketing, user research, legal and other functions are aware of the dependencies and proactively work on resolving them. You’ll represent the team’s effort by driving internal and external communication to make sure progress is transparent and visible at the right levels and surface risks early. 

Responsibilities: 

Your main responsibility will be to own the delivery of programs of work. In this role, you will:

  • Assemble and organize a cross-functional core team.

  • Create and maintain a program plan and roadmap.

  • Drive initiative-level and quarterly planning.

  • Set up and measure KPIs.

  • Ensure the core team is in sync, stakeholders are well-informed, and decisions are made promptly.

  • Proactively manage dependencies with other functions.

  • Ensure risks and blockers are identified, tracked, communicated, and resolved swiftly.

  • Improve internal processes and tools, introducing industry best practices.

  • Take charge of organizing audits and participating in certifications, including vendor selection, audit planning, SME onboarding, and ensuring smooth audit execution.

  • Facilitate communications, such as internal newsletters, to ensure visibility of your initiatives and your team’s results.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven success in technical program management, from ideation to launching software development programs in various contexts.

  • Ability to craft compelling messages tailored to specific audiences, blending technical acumen with simple, everyday language to deliver memorable and useful stories.

  • Comfortable discussing technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people, expressing complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and SDLC.

Desirable Experiences

  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as financial institutions, is a strong plus

  • Experience managing 3rd party conformity assessments and/or internal audits is a strong plus
