Are you adept with developer-facing documentation and DITA? We’re looking for a senior technical writer who can be part of the effort to rethink and refresh documentation for Coverity, a static analysis security testing tool. This is a chance to have a big impact by improving content practices while contributing to the documentation.
Primary qualifications
- Experience with at least one programming language
- Comfortable in the command-line or (even better) familiar with Bash scripting
- Familiarity with source control with Git and GitLab (or something similar)
- Experience working with DITA. For example, creating ditamaps, tasks, concepts, and reference topics from scratch; using keys; using a ditaval for conditional processing
- Advanced knowledge of DITA best practices, content strategy, and CCMS systems are highly desirable

- Experience with API documentation, including the ability to test API examples with tools like Postman, cURL, or something similar.
- Experience with other developer-facing documentation, like SDKs and command-line tools
- Docs-as-code workflows and tools (Git for SCM, reviewing changes through GitHub pull requests or something similar, and OAS3 specs).
