Job Description
What will the role involve?
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with event goals and brand identity. Schedule content to boost engagement and growth, while staying updated on trends and tools.
- Content Creation & Management: Produce and manage engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Collaborate with designers and photographers, write compelling copy, manage content approvals, and utilise AI tools for efficiency.
- Community Engagement: Respond to audience interactions professionally and build a vibrant online community.
- Event Promotion: Plan and manage social media coverage for events, including live content creation and real-time engagement. Coordinate influencer collaborations and create engaging pre- and post-event content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs such as engagement and reach, using insights to refine strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, PR, and event teams to integrate social media into campaigns. Lead digital strategy in event planning meetings and collaborate with partners for content opportunities.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Social Media Expertise: Strong familiarity with Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with at least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts. Experience with paid social campaigns is advantageous.
- Creative Vision: Demonstrated ability to design innovative campaigns that boost engagement and align with brand objectives.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in video editing and familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, and scheduling platforms.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse data effectively and transform it into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills, capable of independently publishing precise written and video content with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work events and weekends leading up to and during events for comprehensive coverage. Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing activations, ensuring robust brand representation. Stay informed on current affairs to engage in relevant conversations when our talent or events are featured in other media.
- Collaborative Spirit: Team-oriented approach with the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
