What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior CRM Analyst to join and empower our analytics team, specifically focusing on our Retention efforts. You will play a key role in informing our CRM strategy and ensuring data-driven decisions. You will serve as an analytical partner for the Director of CRM and CRM Managers, transforming complex data into actionable strategies and influencing the direction of our customer communications.


Key responsibilities:

  • Driving Retention Strategy: Act as the key analytical owner for customer retention segments. You will conduct advanced, in-depth analysis of customer behavior, identifying and modeling key drivers for engagement, retention, churn, and LTV to influence the strategic direction of our CRM campaigns.

  • Collaborating with Product Analytics: Partner closely with the Product Analytics team to align on key activation and retention definitions and metrics. You will ensure a cohesive understanding of the user journey across both Product and CRM efforts.

  • Analyzing Customer Journey & Lifecycle: Conduct complex analysis of the entire customer lifecycle to identify key moments of friction and opportunity. You will provide data-driven recommendations to CRM Managers to help them optimize onboarding, retention, and pre-churn journeys.

  • Leading Experimentation & Analysis: Partner with the CRM team to design, monitor, and analyze complex A/B and multivariate tests. You will influence the analytical lifecycle from hypothesis validation and statistical design to post-test analysis, delivering clear insights on what drives user behavior.

  • Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear insights. You'll conduct complex root-cause analyses on performance trends, presenting your findings and recommendations to both technical and senior-level stakeholders.

  • Project Leadership & Mentorship: Lead complex analytical projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Serve as a valuable support resource for colleagues, explaining complex concepts to the team.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role.

  • Strong CRM or User Lifecycle experience.

  • Experience with Product Analytics, specifically related to defining and analyzing activation and retention metrics.

  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, and analytical functions (e.g., window functions).

  • Advanced knowledge of A/B testing, including experimental design and statistical analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau.

  • Experience with Cohort Analysis and a deep understanding of the customer behavioral lifecycle.

  • Experience with subscription-based monetization.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Python.

  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision on problems of diverse and complex scope.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (specifically CRM Managers and Product stakeholders) to build consensus.

  • Experience with offers, vouchers, or other loyalty/incentivization strategies.
