We are actively seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Position Summary

The Sr. Marketing Manager will deploy the regional marketing strategy in line with the business objectives for the region. You'll assume the responsibility for all marketing in your region from building brand awareness, lead generation to build the sales pipeline, working with Sales Development and Sales teams on activities to accelerate existing opportunities, and developing customer advocacy and implementing cross and upsell campaigns.   You'll ensure that all marketing activities, irrespective of origin, are deployed effectively in the region. This ranges from inputting regional requirements to globally managed brand awareness campaigns, to working with the EMEA team to roll out marketing campaigns. And in addition, you'll develop and deliver marketing programmes that are designed specifically for the countries in your region. This position will participate in multi-functional teams and report directly to the VP Marketing, EMEA.

Essential & Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing for the territory, with a major focus on UKI and Middle East
  • Drive and implement the optimal mix of marketing programs; identify the most effective messaging, value proposition, channels and calls to action
  • Work closely with corporate PR team and local PR agencies to coordinate media and analyst activities
  • Manage and execute all logistics for marketing events and conferences in the region
  • Strategize, plan and execute field marketing programs such as RSI executive briefings, RSI owned events & webinars
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to roll out campaigns and lead nurturing for the region
  • Support the deployment of regionalized social media and localized website pages for the region in collaboration with the Corporate Comms and Brand team
  • Source and manage local vendors for marketing program execution including direct mail
  • Provide guidance on marketing messages and material, website, campaign concept and creative development to ensure effectiveness for the region
  • Facilitate and track lead distribution and follow up activities with the Lead Gen and sales teams
  • Track campaigns and report metrics as well as overall ROI to the internal stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, quality issues, resources, SOW (scope of work) / budget
  • Monitor and report effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Research list vendors and resources for building target accounts and contacts
  • Understand and collaborate on marketing automation technologies across the entire lead nurturing process
  • Build client relationship and support client marketing effort to improve retention and upsell, as well as leverage in prospecting programs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Major in marketing or communications preferred
  • CIM or other industry body a plus, but not requirement

Location

  • Remote – United Kingdom

Experience

  • Depth of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within enterprise software /  IT services sector
  • Direct experience in marketing campaign management strongly preferred, with prior experience of working in EMEA market
  • Experience of working within a matrixed, multinational marketing team (with US headquarters ideally)
  • Knowledge and familiarity with key sales and marketing platforms essential; salesforce, QLIK and Marketo specifically
  • Ideally experience of Enterprise focused marketing

  • Highly self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment but with relatively limited day-to-day management
  • Tenacious problem solver with a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed
  • Creative marketer with strong written, editing and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to work with varied groups including sales and account management teams, executive management, customers, media, and global marketing teams
  • Demonstrated lead generation results that translated into sales revenue
  • Understand how to leverage technology in marketing processes, including marketing automation, salesforce, Adobe creative suite, Microsoft office software, and similar tools
