About the team
You'll be joining the newly formed Privilege team, helping them build User Interface for Privileged Access Management and Privileged Process Automation within the Identity Security Cloud Platform.
The team is fully remote, UK-based, and, as a small team, you will be a key contributor.
The role
In a typical day you'll be working with our Angular framework to deliver on the vision for the new product. With real-time, web-based privileged access, you'll be enabling users to establish interactive connections with targets in customers' networks.
We also want to explore the possibility of using WebAssembly for some components of the interface.
In 90 days, you'd be on-boarded and landing work in collaboration with the tech lead.
In 6 months, you'd be operating with a high degree of autonomy to deliver on the team goals.
In 1 year, you'd be a Subject Matter Expert able to run projects as the team grows.
Responsibilities

  • Ownership of areas of the code base.
  • Design and implement intuitive, maintainable, responsive UI's using JavaScript/CSS, Angular.
  • Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing and UX/interactive designs.
  • Produce unit and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
  • Mentoring developers.
  • Work with server-side engineers in designing the API.
  • Build prototypes used to collect user feedback in order to iterate through design choices
  • Instrument, maintain, and analyze tracking metrics collected at various points within the application to identify pain points and guide improvements
  • Develop automated tests across the full stack, complete with code-coverage metrics


Required

  • Collaborative, approachable and articulate
  • Testing & Debugging - unit & integration tests; familiarity with debug & performance profiling tools
  • Strong working experience with web services frameworks and related technologies such as HTTP, AJAX, REST, SOAP, XML
  • Strong working experience with large scale databases and related ORM technologies
  • Strong working experience with client-side technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, LESS, Sass
  • Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as Angular


Preferred

  • 8+ years of experience
  • WebAssembly experience
  • Apache Guacamole experience
  • SaaS, Amazon Web Services
  • Experience of embedded Chromium e.g. Electron
  • Familiarity with authorization and authentication standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, Kerberos
  • Designing and modifying graphics and icons in Photoshop, GIMP, or similar tool
  • Experience with Automated UI testing frameworks such as Selenium, Silk Test, Playwright
  • BS in Computer Science or similar or equivalent work experience
