Toast is seeking a Strategic Operations Analyst to join our customer onboarding strategy and operations team. You’ll work closely with customer onboarding, product, marketing, sales, systems, and customer care teams. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in strategy and operations, has led strategic initiatives from start to finish, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for increasing efficiency across the customer onboarding process by working cross-functionally with onboarding, sales, systems, data and operations teams.
  • Focus on growing Toast's business in markets including Ireland, the UK, and Canada and collaborate with Toast colleagues globally.
  • Provide thought partnership with the sales and onboarding leadership teams about how to improve Toast’s go-to-market process.
  • Anticipate and mitigate areas where inefficiencies are occurring in the onboarding funnel.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • You must be comfortable analysing a variety of quantitative and qualitative inputs to make strong, data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at a variety of different levels, leading workshops or group discussions, and building and delivering effective presentations.
  • Strong working knowledge of the overlap between operations, systems and front-line onboarding execution.
  • Systems and process-oriented mindset, easily able to self-onboard to new tools and understand how different systems work together to contribute to Toast’s go-to-market motion.
  • Strong Sheets/Excel skills, experience analysing a variety of datasets.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • This role requires 2 days per week in our London office**

Bonus Ingredients**

  • Experience operating independently; consulting or start-up experience is nice to have.
  • SQL or similar analytical skills are nice to have.
