Core Mission:

Supply Chain Specialist Support is an integral and key role within the organization of Galderma (UK) Ltd., This organization is complex, dynamic, and growing fast in a challenging and ever increasing complex environment. The role will be responsible for owning the supply strategy for all 3 business units. This is will include preparing slides for Monthly Business Planning process to show demand, taking into account all relevant factors i.e. promotions, launches, seasonality, life-cycle management; managing the risk of obsolescence and minimizing the impacts to working capital. Supply Chain Specialist Support is the interface between Commercial and Operations teams, including working on the business units’ behalf with the production facilities outside of the UK. Additionally they will be responsible for managing the activities of the LSP. The role will also support any local or corporate supply chain projects as required..

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Analysis: Assist in maintaining accurate records of supply chain activities, including inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning for stock replenishment to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Support inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

Order Processing & Tracking: Help process orders, track shipments, and update stakeholders on order status. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers and service providers to ensure high customer experience. Help process orders, track shipments, and update stakeholders on order status. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Maintain positive relationships with customers and resolve issues as they arise.

Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports on inventory, shipments, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making by supply chain managers.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as sales, procurement, and finance) to ensure smooth coordination across the organization.

Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that supply chain activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements, including quality and safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical/medical devices experience (Desirable)
  • Problem solving in an operational environment
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Powerpoint
  • Able to work to timescales and under pressure
  • High level of accountability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Understanding of basic stock related KPIs such as OTIF and Days / Months Inventory on Hand
