The Boeing P-8 Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft is a military aircraft developed by Boeing Defence, built on a modified design of the 737-800ERX. The Aircraft is fitted with equipment to tackle a diverse range of missions, including protecting submarines and reconnaissance missions. The platform was initially developed for the US Navy, first flown in 2009 and introduced in 2013. In 2019, the UK Ministry of Defence received the first of a fleet of nine P-8A Aircraft.
While continuing to support the UK customer at RAF Lossiemouth under its own contract with the UK MOD, BDUK will also support our international customers as they enter their own fleets into service in the coming years.
Position responsibilities include:

Responds to requests for quotes.

Responds to post production customer supply inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution.

Assists in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity .
Preferred skills / experience:
-
Relevant experience, ideally within the Aviation/Defence industry in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible, highly motivated with a pro-active approach to assigned duties.

Able to work within a small and dynamic team.

Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word. Excel and PowerPoint).

Demonstrate sound communication skills to deal with all customers and colleagues.

Excellent attention to detail.
